Calibration Options
Calibration is available through Contracts or Per Event Services
Save your time … and your money. When you have better things to do than to worry about calibration due dates and you want to save money, your best choice is a calibration contract. These are available on many of our products. Advantages include:
Price
You will realize savings of up to 20% over “per-incident” calibration prices.
Convenience
Place one order for multiple years of calibration service. This allows you to reduce your administrative costs.
Notification
You will be notified automatically when a device is due for calibration.
Contracts are available for both new and previously purchased instruments, in contract periods of either three or five years, and are available for both standard calibrations and calibrations with data. Three-year contracts offer you three calibrations within three years of purchase; five-year contracts offer you five calibrations within five years of purchase.
OR
Purchase calibration as you need it by using our convenient Per-Event Calibration Service.
Types of Calibration
ISO-17025 / Z540.3 Accredited Calibration
If you are concerned about quality standards and want to receive the
most comprehensive cal data, then Keithley’s ISO17025 Accredited
Calibration service is a great option for you. This service is available
on most newer Keithley products and includes a Calibration Certificate
and Measurement
Report indicating "before" (As Received) and "after" (As Returned) data with measurement uncertainties.
All measurements are traceable to the appropriate national and international standards organizations. To learn more, read our guidelines on how we perform our accredited calibrations.
Calibration with Data
If you are not concerned about the extra value offered by an accredited calibration, Keithley Calibration with Data is available on most products. It includes a Calibration Certificate and Measurement Report indicating "before" (As Received) and "after" (As Returned) data.
All measurements are traceable to the appropriate national and international standards organizations. Most calibrations are performed in compliance with calibration standard ANSI/NCSL Z540-1. (Please note that before data is not typically available on products needing of repair.)
Standard Calibration
If you need a high-quality calibration, but not the data, Keithley’s Standard Calibration includes a Calibration Certificate that verifies your product meets its original performance specifications. Although no data reports are provided, we follow the same procedures as we do for our Calibrations with Data.
