Understanding High Accuracy Wireless Measurements Available on demand

Today's test engineers need to make high precision measurements with higher test throughput and lower test system cost. PC-plug-in data acquisition systems lack precision measurement capability. Traditional IEEE-488 (GPIB) - based data acquisition systems do not have enough throughput to handle high-speed test setup, control, and data transfer. In addition, PC- or GPIB-based systems cannot be connected easily to set up a multi-point networked, and distributed measurement and monitor system. Ethernet and wireless network-based data acquisition systems offer new exciting capabilities and possibilities in data acquisition.

In this seminar you will learn:

  • The basics of Ethernet and wireless network technology.
  • Different communication standards - such as IEEE-488, RS-232, Ethernet.
  • How to develop a high measurement accuracy, high throughput, low-cost, fully integrated and easy-to-use data acquisition system.
Event Length: Approximately 45 minutes
