RF Test and Measurement Solutions
WiMAX

Keithley offers a set of signal creation and analysis tools for WiMAX signal testing. Keithley’s new solution is built on a next-generation hardware platform that makes it simple and inexpensive to add support for new signal standards, such as 802.16e mobile WiMAX Wave 2 testing with up to 4x4 MIMO channels, without requiring expensive hardware upgrades or new instrumentation. In addition, the new instruments support testing to lower frequency bands down to 400MHz, an increasingly important capability for new WiMAX solutions being developed.

MIMO

The System 2800-MIMO and System 2900-MIMO can be configured into high-performance two-,three-,four-,or up to eight-channel systems to test WiFi,WiMAX,and other MIMO devices and equipment.

WLAN

With continuous frequency coverage up to 6GHz and 40MHz bandwidth as standard, and SISO (Single-Input,Single-Output) and MIMO (Multiple-Input,Multiple-Output) configurations, the Model 2820 Vector Signal Analyzer and Model 2920 Vector Signal Generator instruments are ideal for WLAN testing in R&D. Keithley’s WLAN measurement solutions provide a comprehensive set of capabilities coupled with superior accuracy, flexibility, and value.

Keithley Instruments offers a full range of RF test and measurement solutions capabile of addressing the latest WLAN and WiMAX applications for both SISO and MIMO testing. Our solutions offer:
  • High speed DSP measurements—Reduces cost of test, shortens time to market
  • High accuracy and repeatability—Ensures high product quality and high production yields
  • High flexibility—40MHz standard bandwidth analysis, optional 80MHz arbitrary waveform generation with MIMO synchronization increases return on investment
  • Low cost—Extends capital budgets

Innovative SDR Architecture

Keithley’s DSP-based Software-Defined Radio (SDR) architecture creates powerful RF instruments with high-speed, accuracy and repeatability, flexibility, and price needed for today’s wireless communications standards test requirements
